From Hayden's Scandal to President Arroyo's Breast Implants


The attention of the masses from the sex-video scandals of Hayden Kho and his senate hearings against Katrina Halili shifted to our own president, Ms. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
The initial issue was: did our president has a breast implant?
“What’s wrong with the President having had breast implants?” Press Secretary Cerge Remonde asked a day after denying Arroyo had such a breast implant.


For us, nothing. But why did the palace denied of her having a breast implant on the first place?

It's not the press secretary's fault. First of all, Mr. Remonde didn't knew that Ms. Arroyo, who checked into the Asian Hospital for self-quatantine, would also check if there was a "leaking breast implant". The day after that incident, he denied the rumors by showing pictures of then flat-chested Arroyo asking if that would be the picture if she had a breast implant. Later on that day, realizing that hospitals have medical records, admitted that Ms. Arroyo had a breast implant years ago. Secondly, the Office of the President told him that the issues are false.

That's common to the Arroyo administration: to lie. Remember when she said that she will not run again for office?

Democracy Icon and Former President Corazon Aquino Laid To Rest

Millions of Filipinos witnessed yesterday, Aug. 5, 2009, about nine hours of procession from the Manila Cathedral after the last Mass for her was held to the Manila Memorial Park where the democracy icon, a good mother and wife, a lady who's self-acclaimed to be just a "simple housewife", former President Corazon "Cory" Aquino laid to rest.
