Binay: dapat "One to Sawa" ang term

Jejomar "Jojo" C. Binay Sr., the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines, made a statement that he will amend the term for local and national officials if he will win the 2016 elections.

In his speech given to the crowd in Negros Occidental,
"Itong term na ito, hindi ako naniniwala diyan. Kailangan one to sawa 'yan. Hanggang gusto ng tao. Kaya kung merong amendment sa Constitution, ipapaalis ko ang term limitation hanggang gusto, iboto nang iboto"

But the Palace expresses fear about what the VP's "one to sawa". First, it would be like a door welcoming dictators who will seat for a longer time and second, it would easily create political dynasties. It can be noted that in the Philippines, there are a lot of political dynasties from north to south, from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Clarification

Joey Salcedo, Binay's spokesperson clarified that what Binay wanted to say is that VP only wants a four year term (instead of the current limit of six years) and a re-election; while there is no limitation for the term of a local official.

Salcedo added that four years is very short for a good president and too long for a bad president. Let the people decide if the president can extend again his service to them for another four years.

Survey

So do you think that a four-year term with re-election is OK?
AND
