Tanim Bala: Isang Bala Ka Lang

Filipinos around the world specially those who knew FPJ can surely spot where i borrowed the title from.

Well, now is different, Filipinos and even foreigners know this: the "TANIM BALA". i don't know if it's a scam, an extortion, or the alleged people who "brought" with them bullets are really planning to do crimes.

Now, here is my OCO (One Centavo Opinion):

Considering the age of the victims, most of them are senior citizens. Why on earth will they bring a live bullet going to their destination? Are they thinking of hi-jacking the plane? Then what? they will throw the bullet to people who will not listen to them?

Considering the destination the victims will go, most of them will go to other countries, so most of them are OFWs. They will surely miss their flights or nonetheless will be late. So what will they do if they will be "caught" having a bullet in their bags/luggages? "Ma'am, ano po tong nakikita namin sa x-ray? May anting-anting po ba kayo?" Surely that person knows that it's not their anting-anting (amulet) so what will the officers say? I guess it goes like this, "Ma'am, baka matagalan kayo sa flight niyo, AAYUSIN ba natin to or tatawag kami ng security?" If you're the victim, what will you do if you think that a small "SOP" will save you time and all the hassle and most specially, the fact of being arrested and put into jail.

According to toplistnetwork.com they have their spotters in the airport.

Some of the OFWs are standing up and even risk their time spending in jail when they're arrested. i'm sure that most of the victims, just stay quiet, pay the SOP, the scammers are happy, no jail time and hassle for the victims, and again, the scammers are happy. Wow, Corruption at its best!

Suggestion? Pls scammers, pls just donate the bullets to our Armed Forces of the Philippines or the Philippine National Police because I know they can use the bullets.

Calling the government officials, please investigate this one. Will you wait to act on it if you personally experience? or a relative? or a sister  (i won't name names, you readers know what i mean)? maybe when that time happens, awww, all investigation sectors from NBI, CIDG, or intelligence sectors from ISAFP and even ask for help with NBI.

There are tips from kwentongofw.com on how to avoid being a victim to the TANIM BALA scheme.
The best way guys, is to wrap them so that they can't open and plant the bullet. Wait! for Php160, roughly $4, you can let NAIA wrap your bags for you. Wow, another business to boom ;)
Surely, it's more FUN in the FEElippines.
