Isnilon Hapilon & Omar Maute, dead
i guess everybody heard about the Battle in Marawi City last May 23, 2017 around 2:00PM which started when the government forces tried to arrest Isnilon Hapilon, the leader of Abu Sayyaf (an ISIS-inspired terror group) which was reportedly in Marawi City.
We can also recall that on June 6, 2017 at the checkpoint in Sirawan, Toril, Davao City, the patriatch of the Maute family, Cayamora Maute, on board a Toyota Grandia van, was apprehended. 3 days later, June 9, 2017 in Masiu, Lanao del Sur, Ominta Romato Maute aka "Farhana" was arrested.
The two apprehended person are the parents of the infamous Maute Brothers - Omar and Abdullah, who pledged their allegiance to ISIS.
While Abdullah Maute was thought to be dead last August 2017 due to airstrike, where the Philippine Army cited the social media platform, Telegram chatter about "Sheik Al Miyahad Abu Al Hassan's martyrdom", a name he is known in the ISIS network.

Now nearly 5 months after the war, Isnilon Hapilon and Omar Maute are dead. Click the link and view the picture. The resemblance of their faces compared to the faces being displayed in checkpoints has an eerie resemblance.
BUT the government forces will still use scientific evidences like DNA and the like to prove that the bodies are of the Abu Sayyaf leader and of the othe half of the Maute Brothers Duo.
How about the other duo, Abdullah?
